Pastor E.A. Deckard
... is the Senior Pastor and Founder of the Green House International Church in Houston, Texas. Today he is an author, highly sought speaker, community leader and the spiritual father and mentor to believers across the country but he daily reminds us he had to overcome several setbacks and obstacles to reach the level of success he now enjoys. Pastor E.A. Deckard married the beautiful Sandra Denise Norris on February 15, 1997 while pastoring the New Life Community Church.

Pastor Deckard always knew he would be working on Sundays but his desire after entering Morgan State University on a football scholarship was to play professional football in the National Football League. After injuries ended his dream of playing professional football he moved back home to Houston and begin working in youth ministry with kids from the inner-city streets of Houston’s Fifth Ward. The Lord began to open up opportunities to serve in ministry and he served as Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor and Senior Pastor for three local churches in Houston, Texas before founding the Green House International Church.

Pastor E.A. Deckard has been featured preaching and teaching on both radio and television and his unique style of bringing the Word of God alive has impacted lives throughout his ministry.

Pastor Deckard has been honored by several local and national organizations for his dedication and work in the inner-city neighborhoods of Houston, Texas. He has also served on several religious and community boards throughout his ministry. Pastor E.A. and Sandra Deckard are the proud parents of Jessie, Diamonic, Chasate and the late Genesis Ne’vaeh Deckard.
